12th Annual Homeland Hospice 5K and Memory Walk

Our annual Homeland Hospice 5K and Memory Walk serves to remember those we’ve lost and to raise funds to support those who need care today. Funds raised support Homeland Hospice supportive services like massage, music therapy and additional in-home relief hours as well as residents of Homeland Center whose financial resources have been exhausted. Because of our walkers, runners, volunteers and sponsors, our 11th annual 5K and Memory Walk was a huge success!

Stay tuned for more information on the 2026 Homeland Hospice 5K and Memory Walk!

just never give up."

AN ANNUAL TRADITION TO REMEMBER

The Homeland Hospice 5K and Memory Walk began in 2014 when a group of staff and board members at Homeland wanted a signature event that would shed a different light on hospice and be an outreach to the surrounding communities we serve.

What was initially a competitive 5K run and walk has transitioned to include a Memory Walk focusing on our patients and the family members we serve. The foundation of this event is to remember. It is for families to remember their loved ones and for us, as an organization, to remember and honor the community and people we are blessed to care for on a daily basis.

We are grateful for the generous support of local businesses and individuals who make this special annual Homeland tradition possible.

If you’re interested in making a difference and supporting a community tradition, become a sponsor today!

REMEMBER A LOVED ONE

In addition to walking or running at the event, you can add your loved one’s name to the front of this year’s t-shirt. By donating $25, you will support those who need care today and have your honoree’s name added to the t-shirts given to each registrant. Funds raised support Homeland Hospice supportive services like massage, music therapy and additional in-home relief hours as well as residents of Homeland Center whose financial resources have been exhausted.
